Come Run or Walk the Boardwalk 5K!
We invite you to bring your friends and family to the 6th Annual Boardwalk 5K, Walk of Champions & Carnival of Activities, an exciting event to support the health and fitness programs of Seattle Public Schools with an emphasis on supporting our "underserved" students. All events will begin at Husky Stadium. The Boardwalk 5K Run or Walk will traverse the scenic University of Washington campus, while the non-competitive Walk of Champions, Carnival of Activities and the Physical Education awards ceremony all will take place in the stadium.

Why Participate?
Regular exercise can help our kids grow into fit and healthy adults by reducing their risk of a wide range of health problems such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity and high blood pressure. Exercising can become a habit that will provide them with a lifetime of benefits – a lifetime of benefits can start at Husky Stadium on March 20th, 2011.

What are your dollars going to?
Funds will be used to support and expand equipment for the Physical Education programs at Seattle Public Schools.

The Boardwalk, is open to all ages and ability levels. So come on out and run, race, walk, jog or crawl and have a great time while supporting a great cause.
