SCHOOLING WITH THE STORM SCORES BIG

Wow! Heading into its third year, "Schooling with the Storm" is a thunderous success. In three events so far, our attendees have raised over $20,000 in support of our underserved middle schools and to purchase athletic shoes for female students in grades six through eight.

Schooling with Storm is a partnership between the Sonics & Storm Foundation, Team Seattle Athletics, SchoolKidsComeFirst.com, and the Seattle Public Schools. Schooling with Storm events focus on fundraising in support of the city's underserved middle schools; the first event included a specific focus on purchasing athletic shoes for girls.

For those who have participated and contributed, thank you so much. You have made a difference in the lives of middle school students served by our Seattle Public Schools.
