B.F. Day School is very grateful that schoolkidscomefirst.com has been launched! This site will inform the public of our specific needs. Donators can fund those projects that appeal to their particular passions! -- Susan McCloskey, Principal, B.F. Day Elementary
School Kids Come First is an opportunity for people to help schools in a manageable way while still making a big difference. Rainier View staff and students sometimes have a need for materials and supplies that they cannot afford. Through SchoolKidsComeFirst, donors can assist with providing these needs, yet the cost to each donor is relatively small. For example, a number of students do not have appropriate footwear for gym class. A donor may purchase one pair of shoes for about $15, providing a student with a much needed resource. The school does not have the funds to provide gym shoes for students. An individual donor can help one student at a time, knowing he/she has helped that student in a meaningful way. -- Cathy Thompson, Principal, Roxhill Elementary
There are so many things that may seem little to others, but become big hurdles to us. With this website, we hope to have support in jumping those hurdles, which will then allow us to better meet our students’ educational needs. -- Pat Hunter, Principal, Maple Elementary
