Middle school years can be difficult. Often, students can use all the support they can get, but it’s harder to come by. And these days, we have to stretch every dollar. It can be an impossible reach to find that bit of extra funding for a program – or a student in need.
Middle school sports programs, as one instance, are overshadowed by high-powered high school teams, and often overlooked, undervalued, and underfunded. We want to help our middle school athletes and their school years blossom.
Student can’t fully participate in sports without the right equipment - and what could be more basic than the right shoes? To get our students involved, we want to buy athletic shoes for some of our underserved girls as well as to support athletics for all of our students.
The right stuff in middle school can be enough to change a life. A pair of shoes, an athletic program, just that extra edge can make a difference.
We are raising money to support athletics and physical fitness for all the students at our school. 30% of the funding will be used to buy athletic shoes for our middle school girls in need; the rest of the funding will support athletic and fitness programs for our middle school students.
The total cost for this project in this year is $366 including shipping and handling, tax, and fulfillment.
