I am a 7th grade science teacher at Meany Middle School and I would really like to create a week long study of owl pellets with our 150 young scientists. Students will dissect the owl pellets, learning about the relationship of the food chain and web ecosystems while reconstructing mammalian skeletons found in the pellets. This is an excellent week of science for 7th graders and they will be on task and enthused the entire week as they will have hands on experience of understanding the life cycles of mammals - up close and personal!
We'll be off and studying if you will help me get 150 owl pellets from the Carolina Biological catalogue. Total cost: $493.00, including S & H, Tax and 15% fulfillment.
Please support our science project.
