Can you do a back-handspring? Juggle three objects more than 100 times without dropping one? Do 100 "double-unders" with a jump rope?
If you can do them all – and more – you might qualify for SCATS. Of course, you'd also have to be in elementary school.
SCATS is a high-energy tumbling, juggling, jump-roping, and unicycling performance group comprised of students from Sanislo and Dearborn Park Elementary Schools. SCATS performs around the Seattle area, at other schools, Sonics and Husky games, and other events. Their schedule is booked far in advance.
SCATS is the pride of Sanislo. Qualifying to perform is a school-wide goal, and every student practices the gravity-defying skills in P.E.
SCATS performers find a joy and a sense of unbelievable accomplishment in their achievements that lasts far beyond their elementary school years.
We're asking you to help support that joy and those achievements by sponsoring a SCATS performer for a year. It costs $100 for a uniform, snacks, equipment, and the award each performer receives at the end of the year. The total cost of the sponsorship is $115 including shipping and handling, tax, and 15% fulfillment.
Thank you for helping us show the world what our students can do.
